Moneyball

For all you die hard baseball fans who are interested in how players are consumed, traded or plain out fired like a Redman cheek turd you get a full frontal here.  The realities of baseball are paraded out in front of you with Brad Pitt distracting you with a another great performance.  Benett Miller balances this very well.  Brad Pitt finds a young man (Jonah Hill) who has come up with the statical way to win.  As the Oakland A's use this new strategy to find their first play off birth; on a team salary less than Jeter's per game take mind you.  This is an interesting commentary in how the Baseball manager became irrelevant placing all the power in the hands of mathematical probability.  The only thing I don't like is how baseball is no longer about the game and a players performance.  Its all about a players stats.  If you love baseball you will get this.  If you don't know the sport than this movie is not for you.
